I would like to express my sincere appreciation to everyone at Homeward Bound, from all the staff to the volunteers who give their time and energy to make life better for people like me who are having a rough time of it, plus all the wonderful people who donate food, clothing, and other essential items. Also to the guys who wake up early in the morning to provide us with breakfast and coffee! Thank you all for keeping us warm at night and making sure we have food in our bellies, and also for the badly needed coat, gloves, socks, and hat I received recently. Know that you do make a difference in our lives, and while some may not fully appreciate it, or be able to express it, I want you all to know how much it means to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and have a wonderful holiday season!!

Alright, I have a success story for you. 3 months ago, I had been staying in the homeless shelter for 4 months. I ended up getting a break through to help me get on my feet. In just 3 short months, I ended up getting a raise at work, and now I am on my way to owning my own house! So I am on my way to doing so much better than I was while staying at the shelter. The shelter has changed my life in so many ways. If it was not for me staying at the shelter, I would not have had the opportunity to be owning my own home. Thank you all so much!
